View Map. These centers are dedicated to transferring transportation technology through training, technical assistance, and other customer services to municipal elected officials and their staff. PennDOT LTAP provides technical information and proven technologies dealing with roadway maintenance and safety methods to meet the growing demands on municipal governments. On average, the PennDOT LTAP training and technology transfer programs train and assist nearly 6, municipal employees per year in effective and efficient maintenance procedures, essential safety practices, and infrastructure management processes.
Historically, PennDOT LTAP has augmented this training with nearly one-on-one technical assistance sessions and the dissemination of approximately 50, pieces of information highlighting practical technological advances Read more.
The program provides a professional certification to municipal employees and officials who attend a certain number of courses within a three-year period 10 courses for Roads Scholar I and 8 for Roads Scholar II. Courses are conducted at convenient locations throughout the Commonwealth. During these courses, participants are educated on up-to-date maintenance and safety topics taught by LTAP's technical experts.

Many communities in Pennsylvania are encouraging more active transportation walking, cycling, etc. Corresponding to this encouragement of active transportation, communities are looking to develop active transportation plans to help create more facilities such as bicycle paths, sidewalks, trails, greenways, etc.
This course will examine the safety and standards for these facilities, as well as how to develop an active transportation plan. The course will also highlight successful examples of local plans, practices, and policies in Pennsylvania.
Intended Audience: This course is intended for local officials responsible for the planning, design, and implementation of bicycle, greenways, trails and related facilities. This includes municipal managers, elected officials, public works directors, roadmasters, and code enforcement officers.
The purpose of the plan is to identify existing barriers to access for programs, services, and facilities in the public right-of-way and how the municipality will mitigate those barriers. This course will provide municipalities with the background information and tools necessary to create an ADA-compliant transition plan or self-evaluation. The plan is a valuable tool to improve accessibility, program future activities, create reasonable priorities, and ward off litigation.
Intended Audience: This course is intended for local government officials responsible for complying with the ADA.
This includes municipal managers, elected officials, ADA coordinators, public works directors, roadmasters, and code enforcement officers. A curb that prohibits a wheelchair from accessing a sidewalk, for example, is a barrier to access and is therefore discrimination. While the spirit of the ADA is clear, the application of its specific requirements to local roadway maintenance and operations can be complex.
Certainly, the placement of sidewalk in a new residential development is considered new construction, but what about the replacement of a deteriorated segment of sidewalk or the repaving of a local road? This course helps to answer questions like these, as well as provides specifics about planning, design, construction, and materials useful to municipal public works employees. Intended audience: All public works employees involved with ADA transportation facilities, including municipal decision makers such as managers, foremen, codes inspectors, and zoning officers, and road crew members with ADA facility responsibilities.

For R11e-LTE6 modem cell lock information will not be lost after reboot or modem reset. To remove cell lock use at-chat command:. All PLMN codes available here this variable can be also left blank. This can be done using the following command:. Firmware updates usually includes small improvements in stability or small bug fixes that can't be included into RouterOS. Some sources have found out that this limitation is done by monitoring TTL Time To Live values from packets to determinate if limitations need to be applied TTL is decreased by 1 for each "hop" made.

Road Scholar Program The Road Scholar Program was designed to serve as a core knowledge base for those actively involved with Indiana's local roads. This program provides attendees with foundational information about road care and allows opportunities for networking with peers and industry leaders.
Participants attend 12 core courses, elective conferences and workshops to accrue credit hours. Once the 12 courses are complete and credit hours have been obtained, participants are awarded the title of Road Builder. The title of Master Road Builder is awarded once credit hours have been accrued. Core Courses All Road Scholar participants must complete each of 12 core courses, which form the knowledge base for the program.
These include: Asset Management for Street and Highway Departments : Learn the concepts of asset management as it relates to local transportation agencies. These concepts will include the principles, benefits, requirements and implementation of a successful asset management program. Public Purchasing : Receive updates from the State Board of Accounts and learn proper protocol for emergency purchasing.
Roadway Safety : Learn low-cost safety measures that can greatly decrease crash rates on local roads. Learn how to obtain crash data and how to put it to good use. Basics of a Good Road : Learn the fundamentals of road design, how to select concrete and asphalt materials, and basic drainage laws.
Temporary Traffic Control : Learn the safety requirements for developing a temporary traffic control plan for worksites, as well as implementation and design of a work zone. Bridge Basics : Discuss basic structure types, bridge terminology, design, maintenance, inspection and funding. Drainage : Discuss drainage laws, basic hydrology, structure types, and hydraulic design and sizing.
Road and Bridge Plan Reading : Learn vocabulary, symbol definitions, and specifications for bridges and roads. Estimating Local Road Maintenance Work : A math refresher followed by lessons in calculating area, volume, quantities and costs. Elective Courses All other LTAP training events are considered electives and will be given credit according to the number of hours of training provided. Half-day and full-day workshops will typically be worth three and six credit hours, respectively.
Credits given for multiple-day events vary by event. On-the-Job Credits The value of on-the-job work experience with a local government agency or office is recognized and will be given credit at the rate of 30 hours for each year of experience.
